United Way Contributions

Did you know that your United Way contribution can go directly to Hedge Funds Care? On the United Way pledge form, you are able to specify which charitable organization your donation goes towards. Mark the form and your check and send a letter indicating that your donation is earmarked for Hedge Funds Care.

Matching Gifts

Dollar for dollar, many corporations will match contributions their employees, board members or retirees make to nonprofits. Please consult with your Human Resources Department. If you need assistance, please contact Alyson Loria at (212) 991-9600 ext. 341.

Gifts of Appreciated Securities

There are two basic steps in a stock transfer to Hedge Funds Care:

• Contact your broker to make the transfer of appreciated securities using the following information:

Gifts of Real Estate and Tangible Personal Property

Gifts of real estate of other tangible personal property may also be considered for a donation to HFC, though they are more complex and take more time to complete. Items to be considered include appreciated property of all kinds, including real estate and tangible personal property such as art or antiques. Donors are encouraged to call our partner in managing such gifts, Donation Exchange, at (800) 524-4138, to discuss a possible donation.
