Welcome to the West Coast chapter of Hedge Funds Care!

In 2001, San Francisco became the second region to join Hedge Funds Care. Over the past six years, San Francisco has established a strong local industry presence and raised over $3,300,000. We have awarded 72 grants to incredible community organizations dedicated to the prevention and treatment of child abuse. Our local strategic partner, the San Francisco 49ers Foundation, has increased community awareness of Hedge Funds Care.

  • CIBC Honors Hedge Funds Care San Francisco and New York
    (March 31, 2008)

    • Hedge Funds Care San Francisco and New York were beneficiaries of CIBC Miracle Day. We would like to thank everyone who nominated us, as well as CIBC for its commitment to philanthropy.

  • Support Hedge Funds Care at Reuters Golf Day 2007
    (August 24, 2007)

    • We are thrilled to announce that Reuters graciously donated all proceeds from its 2007 Golf Day to the San Francisco Chapter of Hedge Funds Care! The event took place at the Presidio Golf Course in San Francisco on September 20, 2007. The day included 18 holes of golf, followed by dinner and prize-giving at the Presidio clubhouse.

  • Sixth Annual San Francisco Open Your Heart to the Children Benefit
    (March 15, 2007)

    • The 6th Annual San Francisco Open Your Heart to the Children Benefit took place on March 15th, 2007 at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.

    The benefit had record attendance and raised a record amount, which will enable Hedge Funds Care to distribute more grants to local community based nonprofit organizations.

    It was well supported by the 49ers Foundation with Dr. York and his son Jed and Head Coach Mike Nolan in attendance, along with various other coaches and players.
